It’s not “us” – it’s just me.

Hi, I’m Hoi Yu Kee, the creator of Mystery Key. This is a one-woman crystal shop, built from passion, solitude, and a deep love for all things beautiful and meaningful.

I used to be fascinated by diamonds—because in the eyes of the world, they are the symbol of perfection and value. That’s why I studied GIA gemology and ran my own lash business. But during Melbourne’s long lockdown in 2020, something changed. Isolated in the world’s most locked-down city, I began exploring the world of crystals online. The more I looked, the more I fell in love.

Eventually, I started a small eBay store. Over time, I realized: I wanted my own platform. A space that felt like me.

To me, crystals are like people. Rarely perfect. But within each imperfection lies a story—a landscape formed over thousands, even millions of years. I love these natural imprints. Just like in life, it’s the flaws and changes that make something truly captivating.

Mystery Key is my way of sharing that beauty with you.

從選品、拍照、包裝到網站內容，全部由我親手完成。

我曾經非常熱愛鑽石——在世人眼中，它代表完美與價值。所以我去讀了 GIA 鑑定課程，也經營著自己的美睫小店。但 2020 年墨爾本封城期間（也是世界上封城最久的城市之一），我開始每天在網上看各式各樣的水晶，從好奇到著迷，慢慢地，我愛上了這些來自大自然的奇蹟。

我在 eBay 上開了一間小店，經營了一段時間後，我希望能有一個屬於自己的平台，紀錄這段旅程。

水晶很像我們的人生：不完美，卻有痕跡、有故事。每一顆水晶的形成，都經歷了幾千幾萬年的孕育，晶體裡的冰裂、棉絮、礦缺，就像人身上的經歷和印記，不完美卻動人，真實而有生命。
